130: Daren Schlecter of Law Office of Daren M. Schlecter discusses starting a new practice with us.

Daren SchlecterDaren Schlecter of Law Office of Daren M. Schlecter was born and raised in Sherman Oaks, California. He received his undergraduate degree in political science and public policy from UCLA.  Daren graduated from Whittier Law School in 2008. He was admitted to the State Bar of California, United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2008. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.  Daren has held a variety of positions from file clerk through business litigator.  Recently, Daren was an attorney at a financial services firm, focusing on business litigation, stock broker malpractice, and other areas of law affecting businesses and consumers.  Daren’s s personal interests include music, finance, and traveling.
